Welcome to the Porter Township Trustee’s Office
Our mission is to provide temporary emergency relief to eligible residents to help them maintain a decent standard of living.
As an elected official, the Township Trustee is accountable to the residents of Porter Township. We work hard to manage and distribute funds to assist with basic necessities such as food, shelter, clothing, and medical care. We also offer help with utility bills, rent or mortgage payments, and other emergency expenses.
At the Porter Township Trustee’s Office, we understand that financial hardships can happen to anyone, at any time. That’s why we work closely with other local government agencies, community organizations, and non-profit groups to ensure that residents receive the help they need. We are committed to providing compassionate, non-judgmental support to those who need it most.
In addition to administering assistance programs, our office is responsible for managing township property, maintaining cemeteries, and providing other services to township residents. We are proud to serve the residents of Porter Township and are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our community members.
